Hello! My name is Demi. Although our team has different integral members, I am the face of MILABUNNY.

When I was a young teenager gaining more independence, I enjoyed branching out into new and different styles, most of which had undeniably amazing finds (can't say all, everyone has misses in their time.) I had such a desire to dive into the world of fashion as a means to express my coming-of-age personality in a way that looks unique to me. I also had the eye for piecing together the perfect ensemble. After years of ever changing eras and requests to style just about everyone in my life, I realized I had a passion. 

My Depop shop, prompt named @milabunny, was born out of a walk-in closet in a quiet neighborhood in Arizona. Though many clothes have already been sold, none have been forgotten! Every piece has been carefully chosen to reflect my style. Not for everybody, of course, but you can never say it isn't cute!

After a few years of bundle styling and vintage resale, I began experimenting with upcycling projects. First it was turning a stuffed animal into a bag with a pouch and purse straps. Then it was rose and ribbon adornments on, well, just about everything. Then I realized, I could be doing so much more. 

In 2023, a year of careful curation later, and the first MILABUNNY collection was born. A mix of handmade and upcycled pieces, I made my exciting Summer debut. Still with much to learn, I am ready and willing. MILABUNNY, our original line, only drops two collections a year. I don't believe in overconsumption nor over-saturation. 

The Bunny Closet by Mila is typically open year round and filled with only the most darling and eclectic secondhand pieces of vintage and reworked variety (unless we are sold out!) We also have an assortment of different antiques and accessories available here as well. After all, thrifting is my first love!

It's been almost 7 years since I opened my small Depop shop and I've enjoyed creating for myself and others in a way that is meaningful. Fashion is a look into the soul; the adornments we choose to wear when showing the world who we are. Don't forget to ask yourself: Who are you? 

I had no idea what MILABUNNY would turn into, but I always knew it had to be special.  How many people can mass print a logo on a $60 hoodie and call themselves a designer? I'd like to think we are more than that. As I continue on to my 2nd year of MILABUNNY, I hope to continue leading with my heart and never forgetting to choose softness. None of this would be here without it.
